Cotton conferences
due for Plains producers

South Plains producers can update crop production, marketing, and management skills, and learn more about irrigation, fertility, pest management and agricultural laws and regulations at several upcoming conferences.

"These conferences in the nation's largest cotton patch are designed to provide farmers with the latest information on ways to improve their operations," said Bob Robinson, Texas Cooperative Extension Region I Program Director. "The latest research information and new production techniques presented at each conference is designed to help producers in that particular region or county."

Producers can also earn continuing education units for private and commercial applicator licenses by attending the regional conferences.
