Just Good Pictures!

There's no prize money awarded but we wanted to recognize a number of other excellent photos from Texas Farm Bureau members. This is just a small sample of efforts from many talented photographers.

Be sure to enter again next year. Look for details in the January Texas Agriculture.

Kay Coward of Gatesville took this picture of her four-year-old granddaughter, Haley Strickland, and her baby goat during the Coryell County Fair. Grandma says Haley loves animals and can't wait to get old enough to join 4-H!

After a hot afternoon of baling hay, Andrew Supak stops to cool off with a watermelon at his Grandma Falco's picnic table in Snook. Photo by Ruth Supak.

Marsha Cook of Crockett took this picture of her AQHA colt, Quincy's Nugget. She says her father-in-law, Happy Cook, had the first registered horse in Houston County over 40 years ago, and she continues the tradition.

This photo by Bobette Williams of New Braunfels is of her son Kyle and his show steer, Flick.

Dr. Bob Stout gave a new twist to a Texas sunset with this photograph of a single silhouette of a cow at the Campbell Cox farm in Nacogdoches County.

Bluebonnets and Texas are a natural fit, as photographer Connie Hoelscher of Round Rock found on an excursion this spring on Highway 390, close to Independence.
