Landowners in the Texas Panhandle interested in integrating livestock and wildlife operations will have the chance to learn more June 2 on a tour of the LX Ranch north of Amarillo.
The Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Potter County is hosting the event aimed at offering information about economic sustainability and good land stewardship techniques.
Other topics include: quail habitat ergonomics/habitat evaluation; plants important to deer and quail; drought management of rangeland plants, livestock and wildlife; dietary competition versus dietary overlap; supplemental feeding; and predator management.
