The Texas AgriLife Extension Service is set to host a cow/calf clinic on May 22 in Brownwood. The event will take place at the Brown County fairgrounds at 5:30 p.m.
“When to restock and with what kind of cattle are the two main questions ranchers seem to want answered during this year’s program, so that’s what we intend to do,” said Scott Anderson, Texas AgriLife Extension agent in Brown. “This year’s clinic is shaping up to be one of the best beef cattle programs in our area, so mark your calendars now to attend.”
Clinic topics include: cattle/rural theft prevention, restocking options and value of replacement cattle.
A $10 registration fee is payable at the door. Call the Texas AgriLife Extension office in Brown County at (325) 646-0386 for more information.
