The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) has announced that food experts, farmers and ranchers will gather in New York City on Nov. 15 to discuss antibiotics, biotechnology and media, marketing and food during the Food Dialogues New York.
"We realize that Americans still have a lot of important questions surrounding topics like biotechnology, animal antibiotics and how media and the marketing community talk about food and healthy choices," said Bob Stallman, chairman of USFRA and president of the American Farm Bureau Federation. "We're excited to bring a wide range of voices together for in-depth panel discussions about these issues and to answer some important questions that aren't getting heard. It's time we move the conversation forward."
Three panels will be held at The TimesCenter in Midtown Manhattan to discuss some of the most current food issues. The dialogues also will be streamed live on www.fooddialogues.com.
Panel topics include:
• The Media, Marketing and Healthy Choices
• Your Toughest Questions Answered on Antibiotics in Your Food
• Your Toughest Questions Answered on Biotechnology (GMOs) in Your Food
